Go to your gp they can prescribe something. Also think about allergies. My son is allergic to dairy and soya and turns out he gets ezcma from this (because I was eating the cheese then breastfeeding). Once I cut it all out his skin cleared up. We used Eurax cream to stop the itching.

Creams just treat the symptoms, you need to find out if your child has an allergy. My son has a dairy allergy and gets eczema if he has anything with milk. Also, some prescribed creams thin the skin and may cause permanent damage. Aveeno products are excellent for dry skin.

My daughter has had eczema her whole life. The only lotion that has worked for her so far is Desonide. It is only available by prescription though, so you would need to go to the doctor to get it. Since we started using it her skin has cleared up almost completely and it’s even gentle enough to use on her face.

    Hope this helps!
