Why did my eczema come back after using a 2 week treatment cream?
I have a patch of eczema on my middle finger on my right hand, I went to the doctor and she gave me an antibiotic cream and moisturizer to treat it. The eczema went away after 7 days, then when I stopped using the cream after the 2 week period, the eczema started coming back on the same area, so obviously the antibiotic cream healed the eczema, but why did it come back? And should I start using the cream again for a couple of days? The expiry date on it says September 2012.
The cream is called "Fucibet Cream"
I have eczema myself and for me, some type of soap or bleach triggers my eczema to break out. If you can recall if you used a certain cleaner or bleach, any chemical, then that would explain why it comes back, thats how it is for me.
For me, when i clean with bleach i get eczema all over my wrists (thats where i get my eczema)
so now i use a sensitive cleaner.
is there any kind of home remedy for eczema or a medicaction for it?
I had the worst eczema around 12 ! ALL up my legs and arms!
(while it is considered a skin disease, hormonal changes can cause eczema
so, some women experience or develop it while pregnant)
All you have to do is take cool showers avoid HOT steamy showers or baths it will worsen outbreaks
and use a hypoallergenic lotion as soon as you get out and dry off— do this religiously!!!
most doctors recommend using Cedifil soap & lotion
since it is very mild and will not continue to dry out your skin
NO SCRATCHING! as tempting as it may be! don’t!
there is also a cream your doctor can prescribe
But I personally found it to not be helpful

^ you can buy creams like these or go to your doctor and get a prescription
for those really bad break outs
ironically now I am always complimented on how baby soft my skin is
I can take hot baths and showers and my legs and arms haven’t see a spot of eczema in years!
I now use lotions like Lubriderm and Aveeno (with oat)
it might take a while but if you stick with it cooler showers and moisturizing your skin directly afterward it will clear up
What is best remedy for itchy eczema?
try using aveeno moisturizer, my son had that and the doctor told him what to use, it worked for him. he’s 12 years old. also in the shower use dove or aveeno soap.
